Derek is a seasoned architect with a strong foundation in creating meticulously crafted spaces, drawing inspiration from his studies in Italy and experience across various cities. He balances his role as Director of Architecture at A. Michael Architecture with personal hobbies like golf, cycling, and woodworking, cherishing time spent with friends and family.

Senior Project Architect

Joseph has been passionate about design and architecture since childhood—so it’s no surprise he’s spent the last 14 years bringing incredible spaces to life. With a decade of experience in commercial architecture and the last four years specializing in luxury residential design, Joseph has a unique ability to blend functionality with elegance.

Project Manager

Hannah has a passion for residential design. She managed both spec development and high-end projects in Seattle. Recently relocated to Austin, she brings a fresh perspective and seven years of expertise to the AMA team, eager to make her mark on the architectural landscape in a new environment.

Architectural Technician

Riley's passion for architecture is in residential design. Having recently graduated with his master's in architecture from Kansas State University, Riley is excited to be a part of the AMA team to continue to develop his skills and learn from a great team around him.
